Yeah, this is the right area because it's not my JT - but my wife's brand-spanking-new 2021 Grand Cherokee with 500 miles on it.
She said the other day it didn't feel right. Then today she went into town for some groceries and came back saying "my Jeep was jerking and jumping on the way home".
I plugged in my MX+ ODB thing, connected to my phone and just for speed connected Torque app to it and bingo - while it was idling in the driveway "P0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected" and then "Pending P0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected"
I took it out a mile, turned around and came back - WOW, she was not only not exaggerating, she was understating the issue - that thing was more kicking than missing. It was a constant KICK for a while, then it smoothed out most of the trip back.
Apparently it doesn't store the misfire code as it had no stored codes. I was hoping it did have.
Vehicle Manufacturer: Chrysler
Vehicle Calibration ID: 68504960AD
D
Current Fault Log
------------------
ECU reports no current faults
Pending Fault Log
------------------
P0303: Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
Historic Fault Log
------------------
ECU reports no historic faults
Other discovered fault codes
(possibly pending, current or manufacturer specific)
----------------------------------------------------
End of report.
