Has anyone modified their DRL configuration? I am curious what Canada / Europe / Optional / Europe DRL 48.04 do?

**EDIT** I went through the DRL settings with jscan on the truck and nothing seemed to change.

what other DRL settings did you do? I installed @ORACLElights pre runner lights but they don’t stay on during the day with the normal DRLs and only kick on when the headlights turn on.

My goal is to get the pre runner lights to stay on at all times with the DRLs.

I was able to get it to run with the Canada DRL setting... but I have switchback LEDs in the turn signals (I chose to have the turn signals as the DRLs) and I'm having 2nd thoughts.

Those plugs are a pain in the you-know-what!

Yes, the plugs are a Pain! One thing I did not know is the DRL lights change polarity when the headlights kick on. Depending on how you plug the bulbs in, determines if they go on with your head lights or only stay on when the headlights are off.

I flipped them to have them on with my headlights. I don't mind not having the DRLs off during the day. If I do feel the need to turn them on, I can toggle on the fog lights and this gets the DRL's to turn on.

Long term solution is to get the AAL DRL's.

That’s odd...
Unless you got very inexpensive LED bulbs, they shouldn’t be polarized, and the sockets have fixed connections.
On mine, the DRL are on bright with the headlight off, and switch to dim running lights when the headlights are switched on. There’s no change when the bulbs are flipped over in the socket.

When I got my LED headlights, they came with a wiring harness that added 2 pins to each headlight connector that ran all the way through the firewall to inside the vehicle and added 2 pins to a harness inside the cab. Those are what run my halos as separate from the headlights. Not sure what everyone else is doing with their LED lights.

Which DRL lights did you get? From how the PM at oracle explained it, the jeep is what changes the polarity and I had to connect the bulbs accordingly.

@SteveInOrlando I am referencing the DRLs on the fender.

My JT has the Overland-style halogen DRLs in the fender. It was part of the 24S option package. I replaced the halogen signal (in the same fender housing) and DRL bulbs with LEDs.

Sounds like I'm trying to compare apples to oranges, here.

Can you link the LED bulbs you used?
