Build dates are not 100%, but based on estimated ship dates from many MY22 new orders, looks like production starts on 11/22 (or thereabouts). You can add your build to this thread and see other's order/ship dates for reference:

Sunday musings while I (we) wait for 2022 build sheets and Window Stickers.....

I've seen the reference to MY22 production start of 11/22 or 12/8 quite a bit in various forums and sources. 11/22 seems to have more traction from what I can tell.

Here's a couple of thoughts I ponder on this given my lack of experience tracking a vehicle thru the order/manuf. process to the degree we all would like with respect to our orders.

1 - Is the start of MY2022 in late Nov or early Dec an anomaly in the automotive industry? Don't they usually start in Aug or even earlier?... we've been told there were (still are) supply chain issues which I take at face value for now.
Question then is ... did they have so many 2021 JL/JT orders piled up (supply chain) that they had to run the factory much farther into the year than normal? If so, are these 2021 vehicles that had officially started the process so had to be completed? All customer orders? Both?
Anybody hear of dealers not getting their allotment of JL/JT's this year (orders cancelled)?

2 - If 11/22 is indeed when production of 2022's start ... is it weird that you would start on a Monday of a holiday week (thursday).
Maybe holidays don't really matter for a car manufacturing line (I know this from personal experience in a unrelated 7x24x365 industry this is usually the case).
Or perhaps the factory has been running flat out (as supply chain allows) all along and on 11/22 all that happens is an administrative change for accounting and labeling purposes?

Does anyone know if a car factory not needing to re-tool will actually shut down or pause production going from 21 --> 22 models? Or just change the embossing machine settings for the door placard?

Yes I'm bored ... I've got my JKU ready to sell and I've run out of fun things to do. Guess I'll start configuring bumpers / winches and lift kits online to keep busy

Just placed my order with Auto Mall of GA for a JTRD in Hydro Blue. Leather, color matched top and fenders, trail rail mgmt, aux switches, adv safety, LED, cold weather, off road camera, tow pkg, gorilla glass and steel front bumper.

Have the VON, but no VIN yet.

Now to sell my 2013 JKUR 10th Anniversary Edition ...

Thanks! I ordered through San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. So far the process has been smooth. No pressure or haggling. They are honoring the Affiliate Rewards discount, so I'm getting a little under MSRP. Keeping fingers crossed that the final transaction continues to go well tomorrow!

Sadly, on our end we do not see any estimated shipping dates. However, I can tell you that the overall estimated build process time is 7-9 weeks.

Perhaps. I wouldn’t mind getting an extra $500 or so dollars off myself. Even though I qualify fo the affiliate discount sans tread lightly. At least I qualify for the Military Discount. Which is helpful and don’t have to pay taxes on the vehicle a huge bonus. In today’s market I find it quite satisfying to even get invoice.

I now have a VIN (last 6 digits are 109985) and according to my salesman, I've got a build date of 12/4 scheduled.

Seems like I might take delivery after the holidays depending on shipping timelines, etc.

Hi! New guy here.
Been stalking for awhile and have picked up some great tips off this forum.
Always wanted a Jeep, then I saw the Gladiator and knew that was it.
Wanted it so bad I agreed to sell my motorcycle to get one!
Placed an order yesterday for a Sarge green Sport S diesel. (trust me, that was a hard decision)
Now the waiting begins...

Ordered MY22 JTRD on 10/9 got notification roughly two weeks ago that my ship date would be 11/24. Talked to customer care today and was told that they have started building the jeep and the ship date was now 11/28. But at least they have started building them!

I ordered 10/28 and within a few days (see previous post) I had my vin and an estimated ship date of 12/8. Today my dealer sent (at my request) a copy of the POC which now states a ship date of 12/15 which I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about ... but I won't be surprised if I don't see it until mid Jan or later.

The last 4 digits of my vin are: 8834.
Sport S, sarge green, max tow, bed liner, head liner, cold weather, gorilla glass, convenience group, tech group, popular options pkg, black painted alu wheels, black fenders, black grille insert, Tri-fold Tonneau Cover, aux switch group

Ordered 11/17, had a VIN 11/18 (110038). Snazzberry Sport with no options except Sirius XM, Roll up Tonneau Cover Floor mats, and soft top window storage bag. So basically just Sirius XM and some cheaper if ordered aftermarket parts lol. So serious question here, How can y'all bear to wait this long? 2 Months? I feel like it's forever, I just want my truck lol.
