Hi all,

I'm just looking to save some time. I am wondering what anyone who installed 315/70-17 Bridgestone K02s on their jeep entered for tire size? Thanks.

This is just a starting point. I think I set mine at 34.6 or something like that. I'll do a check comparing speedo to GPS speed and see how close it is.

Measure from the ground to the center of the axle hub and double it.

considering you have factory 32.7s, just skip that step and know in your head to add 1mph for every 20 the speedo reads. 20 is now 21, 67 is now 70.
Enjoy the 5% extra warranty.
(i do not endorse this method for tire size changes over nominal amounts)

Ha Ha. that's funny. Maybe we should set it to a 42" tire get 27% extra warranty.

I have the KO2 37" and set mine to 36.25 and it's darn near perfect. The 315's, I think, would be close to 34.25.

The factory Falken Wildpeaks that came on mine were set to 32.7" for a 33" tire, and the KO2s are known for running small. So, I think 34.6 may be a good start, but I think you'll probably need to go down a bit...

Get a GPS app that measures to the 1/10 MPH and go for a drive with JScan or AlfaOBD connected and set it to show vehicle speed, which will also show 1/10 resolution as opposed to the speedometer which only shows full 1 MPH increments.

I put a level on the top of tire and measure to the bottom of the level with a tape through the center of the wheel on all four tires then calculate the mean (average) of the four. All four of my Goodyear ultraterrain 35s were the same anyway.
