BFGoodrich K02 285/70r17 113Q vs 113S - So I realize the speed rating is the difference in these tires but how else does that affect the tire both on and off road? I’m likely never going over or really that close to 100 in my JT but we likely hit 85 with my wife driving:) I bought some new 17x8.5 rims and I want to keep as much of the MPG and ride quality as I can from the stock Overland tires while giving me better off-road capability for some trails.Something is keeping me from pulling the trigger on the E rated tires just due to how much of the time I will be driving on road. Feel like they may be too stiff. My main reason for asking is to see if the weight difference makes the tire wear faster or possibly be a flat waiting to happen when going off-road. Maybe there’s something else I’m not considering. Seems like the 7 pounds per tire would help with keeping the mpg up.
