It's about time I did a write up.... Been slacking.
In May of 2020 I brought home my 2020 Gobi JT Sport S.
There she is as she came home from the dealer. I knew zip about Jeeps.
I have built other cars and trucks. Mostly lowered, though I did have a K20 Suburban.
I had an 88 wagoner as a winter beater at one point.
Goal was a DD for a single dad of 4 boys and one Bluetick Coonhound that would also serve wheeling and camping duties. Along the way I have seem lots of cool places and met rad people.
Many thanks to Gillian at OffRoad Elements @Discount Tire @813 Fabrication & Design @pixeldecals @TeraFlex and a lot of people on this forum like @FR33DOM @ShadowsPapa @Chargingstar @Waggs for sharing their wisdom and being willing to hit the trail. I went to from knowing next to nothing to building this Jeep by reading a lot on here and asking questions.
