Knock off Rubicon flares?

So I found these on eBay dirt cheap an I’m tempted. Rubicon front fender take offs are a little to rich for my blood. Quality doesn’t need to be spot on as they’re going to get beat and scratched. Wanted to know if anyone has had experience with them.

I found a whole set that fits a JL, says it will fit our gladiator but i've always been told the rears are different?

I bought these. They are a different finish than the factory-they have a smooth finish and are slightly darker than the OEM color. It's noticeable but not enough to bother me. They are on par with OEM quality though, everything fits perfectly including the inner liner. The 1st pic is 37's without the chop kit and the 2nd pic is 40's with the chop. You can really see the color difference in the 1st pic but it doesn't look that pronounced in reality.

I have a 3.5" lift and my 37's were on the smaller end - right at 36" and there was a pretty big gap. You can see the difference in this pic between the Sport fenders and these.

Thanks for the info and picture. Yeah my 35’s would look so tiny.

$350 each? You should easily be able to find some rubi takeoffs for $700. Esp if you watch the JL forums.

What width are they? Rubicon width or non-Rubicon? If they are Rubi then you will have mismatching flare widths, if that matters to you.

you can get oem rubi’s for 650 at the dealer for front and back. I’ll be checking tomorrow if they will do the additional 15% off for accessories.
