Eh... I don't know what I'll name it... title will change.

Build Plans:
Sting-Gray Sport S Max Tow to start.

I want it to be able to blast down fire roads, washboards, crappy pavement, curvy pavement all at a decent speed without killing myself. I feel like I'd need to put 40" tires on it to compensate for the length if I were going to go rock crawling, which really isn't a priority anyway. I want it to remain as light as possible with as low a center of gravity as possible so it always stays planted on the road and never feels tippy. I'll likely never tow more than 4500 lbs on it, but I do want the capability.

I have to say, having been paying hyper attention to different ride quality attributes of my JKU for the past 6 weeks... I really like how this rides right out of the box. I'm not sure how quickly I'll jump to upgrading suspension, but it'll at least be when I start feeling critical of how it's already riding.

I spent 2 hours this morning getting wheels/tires swapped and installing the rails/softopper... I feel like I'll be spending another couple just dealing with the plugs for Jscan, ugh what a royal pain. I'll be rolling with some inaccurate numbers for a little while.

This long thing, especially with the topper added, feels like there is a big old blind spot now. I'm regretting not getting that particular upgrade now.

After a trip over the mountains from Longmont to Moab, the highway manners are crap. Between the general bounciness from the poor road conditions and the body role above 60 MPH on curves, I did not enjoy the drive at all. I got home and immediately ordered the Teraflex adjustable steering stabilizer and am about to order the Piggyback shocks... so, the suspension upgrades are coming sooner than later.

Took advantage of the Hotheads Headliner Memorial Day discount (10%) and got my headliner + sound assassin ordered. After my recent extended highway drive, and my upcoming summer plans for a 2 week driving vacation with the family... I think having less road noise and ambient heat will be a good thing.

I don't think my new steering stabilizer will be here, but I hope to order my new shocks soon. I wonder who has a discount on Teraflex shocks for Memorial Day.

Installed the Teraflex Falcon Piggyback 3.3 shocks (0-1.5") last Friday and drove a lot with different settings. It's still taking some dialing in, but going soft (1 setting) in the back and middle (2.4) up front lets me drive it like a sports car. I'm taking corners way too fast and I feel planted throughout. I keep driving too fast through neighborhoods hitting dips way too fast.
