My JT launch edition had a ticking noise, I took it into the dealership and they started off replacing the rocker arms, then they replaced the cam phaser, then they replaced the cylinder head, then they replaced the whole engine, my jeep was at the dealership for three visits and for the last visit for the engine replacement it was at the dealership for 30 days. They called me up and said my vehicle was fixed. I picked it up and drove off the lot and made it a half a mile down the road before the check engine light came on and was flashing and the vehicle started to shake and misfire badly. Iā€™m back in a rental again.

Yuk. Were I in your shoes, at this point I would be negotiating a buy back deal with Jeep.

Wow. I agree. A buyback sounds in order. They should be able to work with Jeep corporate to take care of you.

Hi Jim,
We sincerely regret to hear about this. Please feel free to send us a PM. We would be happy to get you connected with a Case Specialist.

Any update on the second engine misfire? I would have to think if you got a lemon replacement engine, they would be starting the process on their own to buy you out or replacement.
