LEER and A.R.E

Out of curiosity has anyone tried one from a Colorado or Canyon? There is a large thread on here about a tonneau cover from one fitting a Gladiator like a glove so that leads me to think at cap would fit as well. Just a thought!!

Might fit the bed but would not even come close to lining up with the cab. The front might slant too far forward to even allow it to mount. Here's the SnugTop on the Canyon I traded for the Gladiator:

No idea if it will help, but I reached out to Leer, ARE, and SnugTop and asked them about plans for a Gladiator top. If I hear anything different than what's in this thread I'll post back, but at least they know I'm a potential customer if they want to have me. I'd encourage others on here to reach out to them, too, so they get a sense of the demand.

Yeah, whoever is first to market may get a boost in sales just from being the only one out at the time.

I ended up buying the RLD one. It’s stainless steel and build quality looks amazing. I’ve been told it will be here mid/late Nov will post pics when I get it.

So Leer said they are definitely going to produce "something" for the gladiator. Apparently they were estimating sales numbers of jt to be only around 6k units?! But check this concept out that is on the list for the JT possibly.

It is a convertible shell. I'm sure there is a video of it in action on the interwebs some where, but I'll try to describe it. The panels in between the upright sections are quickly removable. The uprights slide along a track. You flip a quick latch on each side and the aluminum rear easily glides and then can be locked in forward. Described as think of it like your jeep doors. Easily take em off, store em, put them.on and repeat. Expandable, and "offroad friendly", not being fiberglass. It is still just a concept itself, but the idea would be that if they do move forward the JT would be on the list.

I may be late to the party here as I have not checked the forum in a long while. I have posted some links to Gladiator caps and shells I have recently found that may be of help? When I researched A.R.E they state their canopy is only available in Canada. I tried their dealer locator and the only dealer in the states is in Texas and their site shows availability as only in Canada as well. RLD Design has cap and shell options but pricier than A.R.E but they are more than just a fiberglass top.

In addition there appears to be several promising choices designed for Gladiator 4X4 campers and toppers for the gladiator at AT Overland and Go Fast Campers with the Go Fast Camper being the least expensive. Long wait times on orders though with either company for the campers.

It’s all over the place. I’ve seen as much as $3500. What are you wanting?
Here’s what mine looks like with drop down front slider, side slider windoors, and Yakima tracks.

Looks like it's got options....I will have to keep trying to reach the local ARE dealer. So they do ship them pre-painted then?
