The only thing keeping me from buying an ecodiesel is the lack of lift kits available. Has anyone received feedback from any of the companies (Clayton, Metalcloak, etc) that plan on producing? I'm aware of the Mopar variety but would rather go with a kit from aftermarket.

they are all similiar, worse case is you are changing springs at some point. be more concerned with control arms and steering geometry.
leveling spacers on stock shocks sucks, I picked up a RC spring lift dirt cheap with shocks, control arms, links and track bar. thinking metalcloak or teraflex springs later but I will see how this rides and adjust.. has to be better then this spacer kit ride

update: ecodiesel on Front- 3.5" teraflex springs with RC control arms, trackbar, shocks
Rear- teraflex springs and trackbar relocation kit, still need rear shocks. Ride is better then the stock High Altitude sport suspension. truck is slightly leaning to the passenger side 1/2", letting thing settle before making adjustments

I have the Rock Krawler x factor kit on order. Most of the parts have arrived. Just waiting on front springs and a couple more boxes

My JTRD is due in about 4 weeks. I ordered a spacer lift ($100) to get my 37s under it until the aftermarket catches up.
I'll likely go this route. Can you share which kit?

I got the 1.5" front with shock extensions combined with .75" rear spacers. Figured I have enough stuff laying around the shop to make bumpstop spscers if needed.

Rock Krawler will have there’s some soon. I have been in contact with them weekly. There’s also the Mopar option.

The Mopar kit is a good option if you can get your hands on it. It's not very expensive. Long term it wouldn't be the kit I would want though. But at like $1500... hard to argue being a test customer.

The repsonse from Metalcloak regarding when a lift would be available for the diesel: We are actually using our current kit on the JT diesel due to our coils be designed already for a heavier Jeep the added 400 lbs of the diesel works very well with that. Jeep did distribute that load pretty evenly from front to back, so sagging also will not be an issue. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions?

Makes sense. A lot of people talk about the 400lbs like its all in the motor when its not. Say even 300lbs of it was up front, that's what guys put up there with bumpers and gear.

just installed teraflex 3.5" front springs yesterday, look and ride seem to be what I want.. Rears go on Monday. will see then if I need spacer front or back. I have a steel front bumper and winch.
So far these are the best riding that I have tried..

There are some differences
Gas tank is on the opposite side of the gas version.

Theres also part of the exhaust that makes it really difficult to change out the passenger upper control arm bolt.

just installed a rebel off road coilover kit
On my sisters diesel

Which Rebel kit did you install? That looks great! Any other feedback on the kit?
