Did you order direct from teraflex? If so how long was the lead time?I had issues with the rear coils falling out after I installed Falcon shocks.
Teraflex has a kit that retains the coils to both the frame and axle.
I installed that along with their “long travel kit” and rear upper control arm axle brackets.
I thought this was only an issue on the Clayton 3.5” lift? Its just the clayton 2.5 (so 3.25 front, 3 in the back really) but they recommend limiting straps, especially in the rear to make sure the coils dont come unseated with longer shocks. This is really more preventative than anything else, if its going to be a pain in the ass i'll just avoid it, but if its 2 quick bolts per side seems pretty easy insurance.
Let me see if I can find it. again. They werent specifically installing it, they had them installed and it looked bolt on in the video while they were showing off the rear of the jeep. I'm going to get under the jeep when it cools off tonight and see if i can try to match up where they had it bolted up. Looked like one end was at the sway bar to axle bolts and then some hole up by the rear frame cross member. I'll report backGot a link to the video? I’d like to check it out.
This is actually just an issue on Gladiators in general, as most shocks designed for 3" of lift or more are allowing for a little too much travel in the rear of the trucks. Limiting straps are a great cheap investment though!I thought this was only an issue on the Clayton 3.5” lift?
What did you order specifically from teraflex to keep the springs in place? I'm having the same issue and trying to find the best solution. So 2 updates.
First I checked the truck and they must have welded tabs to the frame as there was no where stock to put the straps.
Second, the tereflex kit is in stock or at least was on thursday when I ordered, got it shipped out today.
