So I was installing my front spacer lift for my 35's Saturday which came out looking amazing and I put the JT up on the lift and before I touched anything...I found this loose from the factory sitting tucked in the front part of the frame. I couldn't find any spot where it would be missing from. Looks like they drop one from the assemble line and just grabbed another one. I do this all the time with my 77 trans am but in 2020 on a brand new car? I was pretty surprised

Do the right thing, send the bolt back. They may need it to put my Gator together.

That looks a lot like the bolt that holds the brake caliper on--at least for the Wranglers (I'm awaiting Gobi to order my Gladiator). Keep it, never can tell where you might lose one and need a spare. There's a tale to tell about that bolt, if so ...

11:45 if not forwarded ...

More than likely got dropped by an employee and they didn't get it out. It happens.

Looks like the bolt that holds the flux capacitor in place. Might want to have your dealer give your JT a once over. The same thing happened to my buddy, Marty McFly's Gladiator.

Damn I was hoping you’d be showing us the Beer Bottle story lol. There’s been stories over the years people find beer bottle behind the dash or some other inconspicuous area of the car. Drinking on the job keeps those assembly line workers in top order lol.

Same thing happened to this YouTuber. Perhaps a theme?

Go to around 4:30 in the video.

I've been a Tech for over 30 years and enjoying the HELL out of my Gladiator! I once had a customer complain about noises in one of the rear doors of their 2014 Tahoe. Pulled door panel off and found a #20 Torx Screwdriver and about 20 of the same size interior screws. (used on interior panels) The line worker probably saw it was quitting time and just said "all hell I just get another one Tomorrow".......... It happens ALOT! I'm more on board with the Flux Capacitor Bolt.

I think it's more a suspension bolt....the same bolts are in the control arms and frame...I was looking for a spot it fell from at first....

No rattles as the bolt was wedged pretty tight in the frame

@SandSurfer ...haha as of now I'm daily driving my JT...tell I can pick up a beater

Me and my brothers are working on getting matching JT's, Red, White and my Hydro Blue!!!! They both live in Winter Haven, my home town.
