So I went from 7 to 8.4

I changed out the dash and speaker bar tweeters with the plug and play dodge darts

As far as amp/sub combo I wired up a kicker hs10 hideaway under the back seat

To bypass the factory amp you will need this pac audio unit. It will allow you to use your 8.4 with a true low level output to get the cleanest sound.

Thank you everyone i decided to take it to the audio shop i am getting focal 6 inch components and jl audio stealth box under the back seat with a focal 5 channel amp 1200 watts. should sound nice hopefully.

Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

I'm doing something similar, just ordered the HS10 and have some pods with kicker 6.5 for the soundbar coming tomorrow. I swapped the 3.5 in the dash for the dart kickers as well. Next will be knee panel speakers and a small 4 channel amp if I think it needs it. I already replaced the stereo with a 7" alpine and it sounds pretty good. I'm just looking for something moderately better than stock.

what model and size jl sub? I’m going to go with jl sub/s also. Just can’t make up my mind on setup which stalls the decision on sub
