I know these are hard to help with out hearing but I have a 20 rubicon and get a loud pop that seems to be suspension related but not sure seems towards rear. I have checked control arms front and rear track bars front and rear and cab mounts, when I say checked I mean made sure they are tight and ideas or thoughts would be helpful. Thanks

There is usually a difference between “tight” and “torqued to spec”. Did you torque to spec? Stock or after market suspension? A lot of after market stuff has rebuildable joints that can pop etc.. What is the situation/condition you hear the pop? Turning? Bumps? Accelerating/Braking? 2wd/4wd? There have been cases where the rear locker get stuck on…that would pop when turning. Try to give us a little more info.

After market suspension no Johnny joints. All except front track bar at axle. Does it sometimes taking off does it sometimes on bumps sometimes braking. I cannot get it to do it consistently. 2 and 4 wheel drive both it not rear sway bar links. Seems to be more towards rear and sometimes seems right under me, I am honestly think cab mounts maybe but has anyone had that problem?

Check the rear sway bar upper link mounts

If rear, probably this. Check track bar also, but end link mounts are garbage and the rivnuts will come loose and the mounts crack with any wheeling. Also end links can slip on the bushings after time depending on what you have there.

No I don't think it was loose. The slight flex of the frame I think made the noise where the cross member laid against the gas tank if I remember right. I just added some washers and reinstalled and it went away.

Removing it completely got rid of the noise so I knew it was the culprit.

Check the rear sway bar upper link mounts
I think you may be spot on with this idea. I have a ‘22 and it has had a popping sound when slight bind or braking ever since I bought it. Could not figure out from where, as it sound like something tapping the underside of the bed. A couple weeks ago, it occurred to me that I have not heard that popping in some time. Just today, approaching vehicle from rear, and I see the driver side rear sway bar link hanging down. The upper bolt gone. …now where to find part, or if a stainless bolt and nut will do.
