voltage output on my 115VAC outlet in the back seat is 95 volts! This is definitely a problem. Any one else check their voltage levels? I've barely used the outlet so I'm sure I didn't blow the inverter. thoughts?

I don't imagine the output of the 400W inverter is a sine wave: it probably looks more like a square wave. Your meter won't read accurately unless it's measuring a sine wave.

Mine works, so I never measured the voltage. I use it to charge the battery pack I connect the fridge to while traveling.

What this guy said. Need a true RMS spec multi-meter. That Klein meter shown is just measuring the peak to peak voltage and averaging a result and assuming it is sinusoidal.

That being said, what is shown is about what I would expect with that device.

duh, that makes perfect sense. My multimeter leads are too big to fit in the plugs. Anyone have an oscilloscope then can hook to the outlet and post a screen shot of the waveform?
