Manual transmission option?

Will the JT be available with a manual transmission?

I understand that it might be up in the air as only the diesel engine option has been verified.

I think it will be, if most of the JL/JT is shared from the back doors up; then why not a manual transmission. Like the JL rumours I can see that the 6-speed will only come with the 3.6 pentastar. But I don't see a reason why it would t be offered on the JL and not the JT.

The possibility of a manual transmission is the ONLY reason I'm looking at the JT. If it becomes a fact that the manual will not find its way into the JT, then I will lose all interest.

I can't believe they would not offer a manual trans when they are targeting the offroad market. For certain types of offroading, a manual trans works better than an automatic. I primarily run sand dunes and there is no way I would buy a Jeep with a auto for dunes.
