Max Tow Turn Signal and DRL upgrade

I just upgraded my Sport S Max Tow Turn Signals and DRL with an item from Winjet that said it was only compatible with the Rubicon and Overland/Sahara... So far so good! Very pleased with the look! Came with built in hyper flash eliminators that don’t seem to get very hot which is a plus! I could not find many options out there, but these did the trick! Matches my Oracle Oculus headlights pretty well!

I think if I did it again I would go this route. I spent way more to get the factory led DRLs in, after buying the programmer to get it to work.

Will other brands (quake/ Morimoto) work on the JT sport S with the max tow? They indicate “will not fit sport”. I just need confirmation as I will be upgrading my headlights/fogs this week and I need something to match.

Yes, the Max Tow has the same fender lights as an Overland and Rubicon so any lights listed for them will fit.

edit to add: The Sport S with the color-matched flares also has the same lights. Further blurring the line between Overland/Sport.

I just ordered these off Amazon, and should get here on Monday. How did you go about installing these? Did you remove the fenders themselves? Or just the fender liner around the assembly?

Can you post a picture of your truck from the side so I can get a better look at the wheels? What do you have for wheels, tires, and lift?

Forgive me, but I’m not super mechanically inclined so I’m a bit out of my depths on this. The resistors come with what I can only describe as metal zip ties. Where did you mount your transistors?

You should really try to zip-tie them to a metal surface as they get very hot in operation and the metal will act as a heat sink.

ETA which is why I don't like to use them as they can melt plastic.
