I'm ready to buy a mesh top. Wonder if the Spiderwebshade is worth the extra cash. The Shadeidea seems a good top also. I kinda like the 2 piece but if Spider that much better I will go 1 piece. Thanks for any imput.

I don't have experience with anything else... but I've always run SpiderWebShades and have never had any issues with them.

Anyone that has a mesh top, does it do that whistly thing when you get up to speeds like a normal screen in the wind?

I had the Best Top Sun Safari which I thought was a great idea since it could stay on with the Soft top or Hard top. But I gotta say was not impressed. Instructions were terrible, I called Best Top Support numerous times to try to get assistance and no help. After trying to adjust the top a number of times it broke. But I can say it did not whistle when traveling at higher speeds. Shame it was a good concept.

No... it surprisingly quiets things down in the cab. I am guessing it disturbs the wind coming over the windshield just enough that it calms down the wind noise.

It also catches masks, and other things your family leaves lying around in the back seat, etc when you tell them to please stow things otherwise they will be departing the truck through the roof at some point

I really like the Shadeidea. Two piece makes it much easier to get tight

I had to loosen the windshield, but that's no big deal. You get a little bag for the grab handle too.

It's a relatively cheap and easy addition that's one of my favorite things I've done to my Jeep yet

(those fold marks have since gone away, that was right after I installed it)

I got Dirty Dog 4X4’s sunshade off Quadratec. Love it, it does whistle a little but doesn’t really bother me. The sun block is great though for driving during the day with the top down in sunny Florida. I also loved that it stays on with the top down. I leave it on all the time.

I went with Mojo Shades which is a fellow jeep owner run business. The fit is good and can customize if you want.

I leave my spiderwebshade on year round, under the hard top. I like the color options. It is my 2nd, as I ran one on the JK back in the day. very tight and durable, cuts on wind buffeting, and looks good. No whistling.

Another vote for @SPIDERWEBSHADE ....Have them on both Jeeps. Love the fact you don’t have to remove them for anything. Fantastic fit and quality.

Have a helluva deal on a Mopar one if interested. Brand new never out of box.
