hey,

looking for best side mirrors with doors off. I bought a pair from quadratec and they’re junk. Shake like crazy and doesn't stay in place in the wind.

Thanks
lmao i went to O'Reily and bought some scooter mirrors for $8 a piece. Same thread size as the bolts in the front quarter panels, so I pop one out on each side and screw it in.

They do bounce a bit, but hold up to the wind since they were designed for scooters and motorcycles. They work well enough and keep me from getting a ticket. And, $8 per mirror!

I have been very happy with CCM OFF-ROAD solution . Pricey but quality.

Bingo, I"m sure there's some really expensive ones out there that are better, but I bought some from Advanced for like $4 each and they do fine when my top/doors are off. Useless on the interstate but most my topless time is spend around town.

Anyone with these CMM mirrors want to chime in and suggest which size?
6” or 8”?
i run the 6", i should have gotten the 8" (thats what she said). I dont like the view i have with the 6" with my seating position. my 5' 2" wife says they are fine for her (she only drives the jeep when its fair weather and nekkid; go figure)

i recommend my CMM mirrors to everyone. after countless cheapies, im finally happy. the price sucked though, but only compared to the cheapies on the market. They are very well made. I am really happy with my purchase. I waited for a sale btw and got both sides with the mirror pouch for $295 i think and free shipping.

CMM mirrors. SeatJackers. First mods i wish i had done to my JT.

visibility=safety and thats why i got the cmms. no vibrations, they dont wiggle or move while driving. i have some barricade adventure mirrors that were just trash and i cant sell them for 20 bucks. lol

This...can basically end the thread lol. I have them as well and have the same opinion. It seems everyone ultimately ends up with CMM so buy once cry once!
