I'm looking for new wheels for my Mojave. Right now I have the stock wheels and 35" Nitto's. I'd like to not have more than 1" to 1 1/2" inches poking out of the fender. Whats a good backspace and offset and not interfere with the shocks?

AEV jt/jl Borah. #TeamNoPoke. Tire is a 37x12.5. Its a 8.5” wide wheel with a +25mm offset. Back space is like 5.72-5.75

I was similar to you, did not want too much poke...my range was to find a wheel from +18 to -12mm offset. I settled, after way too much thought and debate, on the ones in photos...see my signature for spec. So these photos will show you what a -12mm offset will provide...might be on the little too poke much for you? I'm happy with results and may even look and function better (for higher speed off-roading, absolutely no rubbing otherwise) one day if I do a 2" lift.

Your jeep is exactly what I'm going for, looks wise. I'm planning on a rubicon with painted roof and black fenders. I was originally looking at the AEV pintler wheels but those Borahs look great on yours. That's Onyx, right? Any regrets with that color scheme or wheels?
