From what I have read, the Mojave is more offset to the outside than the +44.45 of other JL and JT's. One press release said the wheels have 7.5 mm less backspacing, so that would mean 44.45 - 7.5 = 36.95 mm.
So when I convert mm to inches I come up with 1.455. This doesn't sound right. Normal backspacing is around 4.5 correct? From what I have read, the Mojave is more offset to the outside than the +44.45 of other JL and JT's. Scales are good for thisNow if I can just figure out the weight!
Offset is measured from the centerline of the wheel - a 0 offset wheel will have the mounting face in the center of the wheel. Offset does not depend on wheel width. So when I convert mm to inches I come up with 1.455. This doesn't sound right. Normal backspacing is around 4.5 correct?
Now the real fun begins. Finding a light wheel with the appropriate backspacing.
