Have a 21 Willys and just purchased a 22 f150 Tremor. The F150 way better vehicle all around especially if u have kids. Not much room in the Gladiator. My Willys is for sale on here if anyone is interested. The Tremor is a tremendous truck.
congrats on the tremor though they are awesome truck

My wife came from a BMX X3 M series. Way more power and more refined but she likes the Gladiator. So many more ways to personalize it and the BMW was overboard for what she needs.

I came from a few Toyota Tacomas [BOARING] I would have 10k to make it 4 wheel as good as my Rubicon jt and this TRUCK is the most fun truck I have ever owned And I have bought lots of new trucks so buy it and take your friends out 4 wheeling so you can pull them out when they get stuck

I just skipped to the end to share my experiences. i had a 2014 F150 5.0 reg cab 4x4 with Fox 2.0 suspension. On the hwy it was way better than my 2022 Mojave. Mojave is better in trails and for all the usual Jeep fun.

If you can wait for the newest premium small truck offering hang on for the new ZR2! My 2020 ZR2 was a wonderful driving truck! Out handled the Mojave in all situations I’ve been in. Still like the Mojave for Jeep type fun though :)

I was seriously considering holding out for the '23 Colorado ZR2, but GMs boring colors, meh. But that 430ftlbs at 3000rpm is going to be insane.

I chose the M998 experience over all.......37s, top off and doors off. Once out of warranty.......it will be a hemi or LS swap

I still have my full size pickup, so I can't really say that I miss it over the Gladiator. I look at vehicle's like tools. Each have a purpose of their own. My pickup is multipurpose, like going to the gravel yard, the dump or picking up the mother-in-law at the airport. The Gladiator stands a much better chance of not getting stuck in the muck that I drive in, but certainly not the best choice to bring to the gravel yard. Everyone's needs are different and you should go by your needs for a truck. If I had to pick one tool for the toolbox, I'm thinking that the Gladiator would not be my best choice. Not because that I don't like it, I just don't see using a ball peen to drive nails. Sure it works, but not the best choice if something goes wrong.

Out of a Ram 1500 into the Glady and haven't looked back. Suits my needs just fine. For all your "hater" friends, just challenge them to an off-road duel/race. That'll shut 'em up. :)

Lift will hurt the ride you are getting with the Mojave suspension. You can run 35's on it as is, maybe toss in 1 to 1.5 inch level pucks on the front. Offroad lights, Aluminum bumpers... maybe a winch with synthetic line...

I traded my loaded 2020 ram rebel for my rubicon gladiator and haven’t missed it much. It did ride better for sure, and was more comfortable, and more powerful than the gladiator but the ability to drop the top and ease of mods, and driving make the gladiator a nice choice. I wish I had driven a Mojave just to see the ride difference than the rubicon but it’s much easier to mod the rubi bc it’s suspension isn’t as fancy. Depends what you want at the end of the day.

I had both Wranglers JLUs on 35s with a lift and a stock Gladiator Willys. I actually prefer the Gladiator over the Wrangler for a few reasons.

Pros
1. Daily Driving / Way less twitchy side to side on the highway (most important to me)

2. Under back seat storage
3. Utility of the bed
4. No tire carrier needed
5. Still very capable offroad
6. Can tow a little bit more
7. I liked the way it drove in sand, mud, and snow better

I actually think it looks better than a Wrangler when they are lifted and have a nice tire / wheel set.

Cons
1. The Wrangler is better offroad in certain situations. The breakover angle and departure angle.

--I have never received so much love or hate for any other vehicle I owned. I've owned a lot. Some people really liked it and others felt it was their life goal to put my truck down. It was always a conversation starter with strangers coming up to me and telling me how they feel. At the end of the day, I actually loved my truck. Except for Jeeps lack of quality control and dealer network. But that's another story. ?
Wanna talk love/hate? My tastes have always been niche type vehicles - I had 4 Chevy Avalanches. Now THAT'S a vehicle you either love or hate. They quit making them now but I do a lot of kayak bass tournaments and you can let the midgate down and put a 14' Hobie PA in the back with very little overhang on the tailgate. No bed extender needed. I have a kayak specific trailer but on some really long trips I prefer the kayak in the bed and the Avalanche tonneu cover for protection.

I'm also a big time bow hunter and I can put a Kingquad in the back with tailgate up.

I've still got a 2013 (last year of production) they ride NICE but the youngest one you can get is 10 years old and almost everything aftermarket is no longer available.

I got a new Gladiator earlier this year and kept the Avalanche for my son and it's just too big for him. Looking to trade it in on a used Gladiator or Wrangler. My Avy is in showroom condition but it's 10 years old with 140k and who knows when it will pop.

I have a 2020 F150 5.0 V8 and a 2021 High Altitude 3.6 V6.

The F150 is my DD, Gladiator is the weekend toy.

What I like about the F150: it's quicker, the seats are more comfortable, the interior is bigger, it has lane assist, and it gets better MPG.

What I like about the Gladiator: it's a much nicer looking truck and it gets attention, the screen and stereo is better, it parks and maneuvers easier, and people wave at me. ?

Mine is opposite of yours. F150 3.5 eb 10 speed 4x4 with max tow package cannot best my diesel gladiator for mpg.

Gladiator is my daily, F150 is for backup in case gladiator decides to die without reasons!

What MPG are you getting with the F150?

I’m getting 19.8 overall. It’s a 10 speed, 4x4, crew cab.
