Searching for more info but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I want to get some aftermarket wheels and tires for my Mojave, and have my eyes set on some Method wheels (probably the 701s - 17") with 4.75 backspace and 0mm offset (due to the wider axles on the Mojave). When I had my JK I had a set of Mickey Thompson Classic IIIs and BFG Ko2 35x12.50R17s. I didn't mind the poke I had on that, but I don't want to beat up the sides with rocks and road debris (I do have a set of RokBloks on now that seem to help - but I am running stock wheels and tires).

Can any fellow Mojave owners post some pics showing this wheel and tire combo that shows poke? I really don't want much (if any) past the fenders, just think that looks is better fitted for the Wrangler.

Assuming 8.5" wide, you'll likely want to go with the +25mm option on a Mojave based on your goals -- the wider axles and higher fenders mean you can run more offset/backspace without clearance issues. This is a good thing, as it helps keep scrub radius in check. I have the 705's in +25mm on my Rubicon.

A couple imperfect pics for ya.

Thanks for the reply! I might have to search for other options for backspacing that I can’t seem to find - I’m mainly just searching to what’s available on Quadratec.

These are the Quadratec Baja Extreme 4.75in backspace (-6 offset) with 315/70-17 tires. Sticks out about 1.5" and slings stuff everywhere

Thank you for the pic and info!

That’s what I’m trying to avoid lol. Unfortunately within a month of owning my JT I got a gnarly chip on the lower rear hinge. That eventually led me to getting RokBlokz.

Method 703 with 4.75 backspace. With 37s, but also 12.5” wide.

I'd stick to a higher offset.

I run +36 and still get a little bit of the tire outside of the fender.

How bad does it fling up onto your sides?
Or the better question, how well does it fling up onto your sides. Clean Jeeps are lame.

I have 701. They stick out a good deal with narrow axles and after market fenders. 17x9.

Hey I’m all about the look but Snazz is as bad as black…. Shows absolutely everything lol. My JK was billet metallic silver and was pretty forgiving.

What offset did you go with? The 12.50 doesn’t bother me too much, I just don’t want extreme poke.
