Hey, I’m looking to add a little more rake to my truck to compensate for the squat when towing my little travel trailer. So I plan to add a .5” spacer to the rear soon.
I currently have Rubicon springs on the truck (449/450 rear) and a 3/4 spacer on the front. I like the height I have in the front with the 3/4 spacer, so that’s staying.

But I also have a pair of 6256/6257 Mojave rear springs.

My question is : Which is Stiffer
Mojave rear Springs or Rubicon?

I would guess the Rubicon springs but I have no data to confirm that. You can check the spring rate of both by placing the same weight on top of each spring and seeing which spring compresses more.

The Mojave is designed for higher speed driving across the desert. The springs are likely softer than what is on the Rubicon. Air bags for towing, or Max Tow springs, may be a possible solution.

I run Max Tow springs on my Mojave and really like them firmer but ride is still good, they are shorter springs then Mojave springs so I have a Icon anodized aluminum 1 -3/8" spacer. Very happy, but I do have a RSI cap @ 175 pounds ands a ARB Element fridge in back @ 83 pounds total, I do tow several trailers a landscape trailer up to 5,000 pounds, camper up to 4100pounds with WD hitch and a 20' Whaler 4500 pounds. I think the Mojave springs and Rubicon are very similar, with Mojave perhaps softer........Jack

Thanks for the ideas guys. One clue that has me leaning to believe the Mojave rear Springs are stiffer is I know the fronts are. The Rubicon and the Mojave front springs have the same free length, but the Mojaves sit 1” higher In the front so they must have a stiffer spring rate, figured the rears might be a little stiffer too.
