Mojave with NEW A.R.E camper shell

Tape off and installing some rubber gaskets/stripping material. Still going to add some to the bottom so there is no way if could scratch the bed.

Was that the standard version or the HD with the aluminum frame inside?

So back then when I got it they called it the HD version but it didnt have that reinforced metal underneath. It was just more stout than the other versions and I think the rhino lined added some rigidity. But I have the same tracks on the roof as OP and I've never once had an issue of anything bending or breaking despite the large amounts of weight I've had up there. Dynamic I've had about 300 lb up there and static I've had about 600 lb. And I've hit the trails hard multiple times over the years at high speeds. Again that's 6 years of owning this thing.

^ Do it! Do a good prep and it will go on easily. I used a small 6 gallon air tank and it was easy.

I will be doing my hard top over the break as well. I like the look of the camper shell soo much i want my hard top to match.

All done. Cleaned inside and installed all mounting brackets.

Yea… there are soo many options.

This one has thr built in rails on top. They are taped up. Has the LED light system inside as well and screen vents over the windows. Really nice setup.

I liked how it is even witht he roof of the jeep and can access the shell from the inside of thr jeep…but definately have to be a tiny person to fit

Way back in the day, that was the window I crawled half way out to reach the cooler, so I could get my pops a fresh beer, I mean coke.

Yes very close like maybe an inch or so away. It almost looks like one full piece. That was one of the reasons i was looking for the CX series but just did not want to spend $4k.

Got bored in the garage after cleaning the inside and installed these on the hood…..
