I work for no man.
I'm looking to install metal molle panels in the bedsides of my Sting Gray Max Tow SS. Any good and bad experiences to share? Any recommendations on which ones to use? I'm thinking about the Putco aluminum system or the Motobilt. And good and bad stories with these? Thanks for any help. A couple of delivery day photos. I have made a few changes, but mostly cosmetic so far.

like a beautiful clean slate.

Are you planning on bed liner? If so, do that before anything else so you don't have to remove anything.

Here's my thoughts on the JCR set. After a season all I can say is they're OK, but I can't recommend them. You definitely want a set that anchors at the bottom and has a robust top mounting system. Putco looks good, and anything from @813 Fabrication & Design is always top-notch.

Take a look at the MOLLE panels we have to offer. All ALUMINUM, PALS correct MOLLE spacing, CNC bent for strength and to match the contour of the bed so no extra mounting brackets are needed. The bottom corner bolts into the existing hole in the bed so no drilling. The BedSide MOLLE panels mount with or without Trail Rails and can mount on either side of the bed depending on how you bolt the hem together. It looks like you do not have rails so they are super simple to install.

The website says "BACKORDER" but I have one side (for either side) in stock and ready to ship. More will be in stock soon

I recommend 813. Great stuff and supports a small business owner.

Not doing spray-on liner. I do have a good bed & tailgate mat in since these photos.

I went with Barns Molle Panels. They are steel and come raw so they need to be painted. They fit well with cut outs in the correct locations for lights, electric outlet and tie downs. Fit correct for easy install. Good mounting points for solid panel.

Mdyucca, did install require removal of rails first? Did you coat them something before install?

I painted the panels with epoxy textured black paint prior to installing. I looked into powder coating the panels, however, the cost (about $300 per the quote I received) this cost made powder coating prohibitive for me.

The tie down rails require removal as the panels mount under the rails using the rail mount bolts. Still satisfied with the quality, relative ease of install and function of the Barns Molle panels.
