I know many people are running this lift as it is covered under warranty.
My question: If you have the max tow package, will adding this lift kit and changing out to fox shocks and different springs affect the tow rating? I know many things go into the tow rating and I suspect shocks and springs certainly would be a factor.
Thanks all.

I am not an expert but FWIW dealer told me that since this is more off road orientated - payload and towing capacity will be sacrificed - they said they couldn't give me exact #'s.

Off subject, but my sales person at the dealership asked me what their service department was charging me for labor, then told me to go to belle tire because she “knew a guy” who’d do it for cheaper. aka, don’t think it matters who installs the Mopar kit

Yes, I'd absolutely think the payload/towing will be reduced, but I highly doubt Jeep engineers would ever tell us by how much depending on the original vehicle configuration. Worst case, if you want the MOPAR lift but still want decent payload/towing I suppose you could get coil spring inserts to help the springs once they get somewhat compressed, I believe I've seen some members on here go that route.

Yup, and even more so when the larger rubber is put on. Which is the main reason for the lift kit to begin with, right?
