The Mopar black hood graphic was defaulted on my Mojave and at first I liked it. However I've since found that it's always spotty and dirty after car washes, or dusty and gross-looking when the rest of the vehicle is 'mildly clean'. Considering you stare at the hood/graphic while driving, it's tweaking my OCD ;) I've had a lot of hood/side decals on other vehicles and have not seen this such a problem as the Mopar. So I have 2 questions:

1) For those that have it, what do you use to keep it clean (if you do, I get that some owners prefer their Jeeps to be constantly dirty). It's almost like it has no coating to keep it "maintenance free" like other graphics I've had.

2) How difficult would it be to take it off? I assume I should do this soon before the paint around the hood fades. Is it just a heat gun and a whole lotta patience peeling?

I have been using Turtle Wax Ice on graphics. Seems to keep all the plastics and graphics nice with out any of the left behind white film.

Aside from recent rain showers, I haven't washed mine in months. The dirt is a protective coating...
