Has anyone yet installed Mopar's catback exhaust system?

Is it too loud? or just right in terms of handling first gear? ;)

Also, any noticeable difference in horsepower?

Installed Mopar catback today and it's awesome. Horsepower jump and increase in lower end torque more than i expected, and yes the noise helps in shifting esp. first gear. Not too loud, though. Just right--as Goldilocks would say.

That looks to be the correct part number. Searching for it the best price I found was 1117.00 plus ship? Does anyone have anything better or even a picture of it?

Discount is great if you can install yourself. I paid full retail 1395 so dealer would give me half off labor (330 not 660). Plus i got 5% back on everything by using Jeep credit card.

Could you take some pics of the exhaust under the truck? Are the rectangular tips part of the kit? The only option for this kit is a dual rear exit?

Anyone know if this is an easy DIY? How many hours?
Also, is it possible to get this part in CA?

Could anyone possibly provide a sound bite? I would like to hear the quality before I purchase.

Besides the price, I can already see two problems with this exhaust—they are visible just below the rear bumper!

I like the dual square tips on that. Looks sharp.

If anyone wants to know what a PITA it is to remove the OE exhaust I can tell you first hand as I have removed and installed more than literally any person should (10+).

It will not come out like any typical exhaust as it is one piece. Your best bet is if you have 2 post hoist. You need the rear suspension to extend down all the way down and then remove the lower end of the trac bar so it swings down even lower below the axle. Then you can unbolt the 10ft long system and snake it out as one piece out of the rear. You will need the vehicle up in the air so you have maneuverability to twist it. It does have a service joint (ring indented in it) marked 1/2 down the length if you want to cut it but there are plenty of reasons not to do that.

I am very skeptical of the HP gains anyone states. The converter/Y-pipe up front is still the same flow rate characteristics and the OE Cat back system flows extremely well according to lab bench testing. If anyone has flow data on the Mopar system I would like to see it.

If you want a different sound with a cheaper option I would suggest changing the muffler on the OE system. The black resonator at the end does not do anything so don't worry about deleting it unless you want to reduce weight or improve clearance.
