Have about 17,000 miles on my Mopar lift steel bumper and lighter weight Warn Evo up front. Yeti track bar and drag link with attenuator and front control arms dialed in to 6ish caster. Willy’s so my lift gave significantly more than two inches. Anyhow, over the last few months I’ve noticed the ride comfort has decreased and bump steer has increased. Even small bumps are equal parts jarring as they are far more bouncy in general. Road imperfections is general are just generally rough and far less dampened. I do have a winter rack with traction boards and rotopax on the bed. Bumps just seem to shake and rattle the cab (and my spine). I’ve aired down that didn’t help. Checked torque on pretty much everything all fine. I didn’t see obvious evidence of leaking shocks.

What else can I check or look for in terms of shocks or springs? Is this just normal for a broken in Mopar lift fox shocks? I don’t know how something can be so bouncy yet jarring at the same time? I have some sag up front from the bumper and winch but I don’t believe I’m riding the bump stops only thing like that.

Thanks for any help you can give, this is my first vehicle where I’m doing my own work as it’s hard not to with the suspension all being right there and accessible. Under low speed forest service wash board it’s fine, feels well dampened and performs better than many other Jeeps I’ve been in. Just bumps at speeds above 30mph.

I'm pretty new to all this as well but my Mopar lift is the same way with stock linkage. Just have a yeti track bar. I've heard a lot of people say the Mopar lift feels better than the stock shocks.. I've never drove a stock sport really so I don't have anything to compare to but I did drive some Rubicon's when I was shopping around. IMO, the Rubicon felt way smoother on road than my sport with the Mopar lift. It's VERY bouncy which I don't mind but if you hit a hole or a bump on the highway it is really rough. Like throw you around in the seat rough.

I took it off road last weekend and off road it feels really great. I didn't disconnect my sway bars so it was a bit rougher than it could have been but I think that's where it really shines. I actually really love these shocks, just wish it was a bit taller so I could fit 37s and clear the fenders with sway bars disconnected.

On another note however, how do you like the drag link with the griffon attenuator? I was thinking about ordering one with a new yeti tie rod as mine are just not doing well with the lift and tires on it. Was it worth is or do you think a solid drag link would feel basically the same?

Drag link works, I don't generally have a lot of lateral movement with bumps (some bump steer but it's more diagonal or in the trajectory of the Jeep at that very moment due to the bounciness I'm dealing with.). Honestly, I have had zero issues with wobble or lateral/camber stability so I'm guessing it works. Is it worth the money or massively better than stock, probably no and no. Was my adjustable steering stabilizer worth it, dunno, I used to adjust it and now just set it to medium and haven't changed it in over a year. But I do know I have heavy tires/rims and the truck does generally quite well and tracks perfectly on the freeway (wind is my only enemy due to the lift) with only a minor dead spot of a degree or two slightly right of center.

It's good to hear (or not) that the bounciness is too be expected or is at least in the realm of someone else's experience. I'm guessing it's probably how I have had it loaded this winter and the bed has been full of stuff more often than not. Off-roading is still really good at low speeds, it really does shine there at least.

My wifes JLUR has about 22k miles on her Mopar lift and the shocks feel like shit. I guess I will be ordering shocks soon, kind of disappointing for the price point.

seems you and I might have warranty claims but I’m certain that most dealers and Jeep will say we off-roaded. My response will be, well no shit I went off-roaring! What the hell else do you get a lift for? Speed bumps?

Awesome! However, since it’s me who drives It most and I’ve lost over 25lbs in the last few months (and I’m a hairy dude), well, that bouncing ain’t pretty. Lol!

Bouncing to me sounds like under damped. Maybe try some stiffer shocks like Bilstein 5100s or an adjustable like the ranchos I have or the falcons.

Are the shocks in the lifts like the Rubicon factory shocks? Those are crap, IMO. Bouncy. That's why I left the stock factory shocks on my 2022 Overland - putting the fancy Fox Rubicon take-offs would be a step backwards, IMO.
