These beauties came in the mail today. Took me all of 20 mins or so to put them in. The new 2stroke 3.0 selling points are new Osram automotive LED 5500k chips, improved low voltage driver, unique enclosed fan that in theory should decrease icing (I will put that to the test!), very easy clocking feature and improved beam pattern. I can attest to the improved beam pattern on my JT stock headlight housings. Photo attached at approx 25ft with a nice cut off line. I like that its 5500k, slightly warmer than my previous 6000k Sealights. Hands down the biggest improvement was the high beams. My Sealights scattered to the point I didn’t use them, relying on my 6” Hellas instead. The high beams have a nice solid hot spot. Very little scatter! At $230cdn they are hefty but I had a $100 credit from a previous purchase at my dealer. I would highly recommend these if you don’t mind spending a few more bucks over Amazons specials. For you Canadians, hit up EssKCustoms.

Your Sealights are a bit different from the ones I have. I’m satisfied with their performance.

Yeah they have two models. The x1 and mine were the Scorparc units. Overall pretty good for the $60 I paid. Newest model is the x2 but not sure if they make an h13 yet. My biggest gripe was the scatter on high beam.

Are these in halogen housings or do these replace factory LEDs?

Update. Finally had that junky wet snow that sticks to everything. With my Sealights they would slush/ice up and obviously reduce light output but also scatter the light (like a flood light). This would cause glare and the star wars warp speed affect. Morimotos stayed warm, melted the slush/snow and kept the beam pattern straight and no glare! Example attached as my amber aux LED lights were iced over.
