I'd claim it - Cherokee Trailhawk is such an incredibly capable off-roader. I always had a weird soft spot for Commanders too, yours looked awesome. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your Gladiator!

That TJ takes me back...I had one almost exactly like it. '05 TJR, flame red, 4.25" zone combo lift on soft 8s with 33" duratracs. I miss that little thing but in almost every way my JT is better, especially as a daily driver

I have felt that the Commander, when it is lifted, is one of the best looking Jeeps.
With the Hemi, and Quadra Drive II, that Commander was amazing off road!

And yes, the Cherokee Trailhawk gets a bad rap, but the 4WD system on that Jeep is VERY good.
If it could be lifted, it would be a slam dunk.

Oooooh, its a tough one.
I've had 16 Jeeps, encompassing most of the models you have but going back further to a 63 CJ and a 79 Gladiator.
My TJ is still favorite but GG earned her chops today in the Philly area flooding. About the deepest I've driven in with zero issues. The thing damn near has a factory snorkel in it.

Anyway, if you have two Jeeps, you don't have to pick a favorite. Right? Like your children? ;)

Never understood the crap the Commander got. Boxy, capable, powerful, and roomy; what more could you want?

I got rid of the Commander when gas got to $4. A month later, gas was under $2.

With my next build being an OVERLAND build, I wish I had that Jeep back with the 50k miles it had when I sold it.
