My Red Leather Interior

So, someone asked me if I could share some photos of my red leather interior. I've been wanting to shoot some new ones, but my travel schedule is making that difficult. So, here are a few from early on.

Bummer the overland didn't come with the red stitching on everything like the launch did. The red stitching in the dash and doors would be a good look too

Very nice. I had the oem red leather in my JKU 10A. With white exterior, the seats really Pop out with doors and top off. Looks sharp

I wasn’t sure about that red stitching comment, but I just looked at a 911 with red seats and red stitching on a black dash; it is quite sharp. I did briefly consider putting the red dash panels in, but I really wanted the more elegant look of the Overland leather panels.

I think you can order the red stitched Launch Edition dash but I don't know the part numbers. I'd bet if you posted a trade someone with an LE might even trade you for the silver stitched version

Thanks, but nah. I have the stitching in the seats to match the dash. Plus, door panels and steering wheel stitching all match that.

I must have missed it but was/is this a factory option or is this custom? It for sure stands out! Just a shade off the red leather jacket tho.......

semi custom. Its Katskins which most dealers can install.

LOL! I like that. Semi-custom. Yes. @Woo it is done as @Oscar Indy says through the dealer and the installers have the skin patterns and some colors in stock. Mine had to be cut and took a few extra days. This Overland had nearly everything I wanted except the leather interior which gave me the opportunity to get it done to my liking. I couldn’t be happier. My sister said it was so me when she saw it. Same for my son. LOL! Not sure that means though.

Love your Jeep and am considering red leather in mine when I order this spring. Since it’s been a year, do you have any regrets going with the red? Are you tired of it and wish you just picked a more modest color? I’m worried if I pick red, I may grow tired of it after a while. How are the katskins holding up too? And does the red transfer as much heat when the top is off?

Love it! I've done the same thing with mine.....except I did the install myself. Looking back, it would've been well worth the $700 extra for the shop to do the install.

That was the best part of the 10A for sure. Looked awful with the anvil exterior imo, but I dislike that color in general. Looks awesome with white
