Greetings fellow Gladiators,

The warranty on my 2020 Gladiator Sport expired 7/14 and I thought I'd share my views on the vehicle. I love it. So far it's been a very dependable vehicle.

I went to Jeep.com the first week in July of 2020 and built myself a Sport and the 15th, I took possession. I didn't need all the bells and whistles. I checked off 13 options and found a Jeep with 11 of the 13. The only options I didn't get were the better speaker system and the spray-in bedliner. It is a no power windows or lock truck. It has the 5 inch radio. The upgrades were bolt-on. Gladiator rock rails, shorty antenna, air deflector, Rough Ridge soft folding top, Dee Zee rubber box liner and Dee Zee tail gate cover. The wheels are off my 2016 Wrangler. Just put new Coopers on it and wanted the wheels to put on the Gladiator because it came with black stamped steel wheels.

The time ran out before the mileage. I currently have 18k and some change on the clock. Had one recall, a misfire download, and one warranty claim, the back window leaking. Other than that, the truck has been flawless. Longest trip was to KC and I got 25 mpg. Suspension is stock and I scored 1 duck. Oil change is the only maintenance I've had to perform on it.

Summing up, I scored a nice truck that I plan on driving for many years to come. Keep on Jeepin'. :jk:

Nice to hear some positive experiences to mix in with the negative on here.

Similar here, I want to see how far I can get before the wheels fall off. I suspect and hope it will be a good long time.

Same as above. It is nice to hear positive news on here. Which air deflector is that? Do you have a close up pic?

Love the color of the truck and overall how it looks. I don't own a Gladiator yet, still considering one, but have owned a couple of Jeeps the last one of which was a Wrangler Sport. It was much like your Gladiator in the sense that it was the basics, my windows were manual as well as the door locks. Something to be said for sure on keeping things simple, that Wrangler got me to just over 100,000 miles before any major issues showed up.

Mine just ran out or it timed out before mileage same as you. I got lucky in that the passenger side sunshade broke 1 day before it timed out and I got it replaced. That was the 3rd time one of the sunshades has broken. Other than that just had to get the steering box done on their nickel and two windshields but 35,000 miles so far without anything else

Same as you, but my warranty ran out because of mileage - 65k+ and it's a 21 Willys. No power locks or windows. Best of all, no mechanical issues, only maintenace. I have kept up with the manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule and because of it, the dealer has given me a lifetime warranty on the engine.

I'm 8 months in with my '23 JTM and I'm going to roll 10,000 this week.

With a couple trips to HQs this week, a trip to OBX and probably one more trip up to Maine.........I'll hit 15,000 mile before my 1 year marker.

Not too far behind - Brought it home first half of July 2022.
It's got over 12K on it now.
Will be driving it again more this fall so likely won't be too far behind my 2020 was when I traded it at 31 month at 27K miles.
No issues with the 2020 once they replaced the steering gear (twice). No leaks, no engine issues, no misfires, transmission worked, everything worked. Only had battery stuff going on after over 2 years - resolved with an IBS reset and charging the batteries with a real charger.
Dealer sold it as a certified pre-owned (rather quickly, too)

The 2022 had that weird misfire - resolved easily with a CCDIFF relearn. Front shocks are leaking but don't really care as for decades, factory supplied shocks have been "get by" shocks. They'll likely replace them under warranty but that's a "whatever" thing to me.
Odd - the rear shocks are bouncy but don't leak - the fronts ones have no bounce and settle nicely, but leak.
That's not technology-related, that's been an issue since I started working on cars in the 70s and probably before that.

It is the Mopar one. It's my second one. I bought it from Quadratec. The first one lasted a month and the connection tabs all cracked. I called them and they replaced it without a qualm. I mounted it a little different. I took an 1/8th inch thick strip of metal I had. It was 3/4 inch wide and cut it into strips about 2 inches long. Drilled a hole in the center and use them for washers to spread the pressure of the screw tightening.

They give you 2 sets of rubber bumpers for the underside of the deflector. They're numbered 10 and 11. The 11's are larger so I took the 2-11's

off the damaged one and the 2 new ones and used all 4-11's on it. Works great. On my 2nd year of running it and holding up well.

My 2020 warranty ran out in May. Same as you, the time ran out before the mileage due to it sitting because I worked from home during Covid and still continue to work from home most of the time. I am coming up on 25k miles.

The only non-maintenance/recall work that's been done is to have the transfer case linkage adjusted as it would pop out of 4-Low.

I've got one rotational squeak coming from somewhere as the truck pulls away from parking. It does it a couple times then stops. Maybe driveshaft/brake/wheel area related? I have a AEV 2.5" lift and 37" tires on it.

Nice to see folks enjoying their Jeeps!

Just bought a used 2020 Sport 3 weeks ago.. Had 71K miles and a clean CarFax. Got a great price on it. Runs fantastic. I've added 2,000 miles in the 3 weeks. Hoping to get a lot more out of it. Using it as my daily driver to keep the miles off my '23 RAM 2500 Cummins Rebel.

Had a 2012 JK Rubicon. Was very reliable until I sold it in 2016 with 75K miles on it. Fingers crossed.

What was it on your Wrangler that showed up after 100K miles?
