Disclaimer, this was originally a comment on a "stickers and decals" thread but kinda buried, would really like some input. Mods, if this is uncool, please delete.

Need a decal idea! I want to put a "band" around my Gladiator somewhere. I have my wedding ring scarred onto my finger in an interlocked band of number "7"s (see pic). I thought it would be cool to have a long, thin decal made (subtle, only about 1-2" thick) of the banded 7s that wraps around some part of the Jeep. Like a stripe or something. Maybe Super-Bee style? Any ideas where I could put it that might look cool?

I think the band should be vertical or close to it, so the "7"s are upright but I'm not really opposed to having it horizontal either.

Also now thinking more about going not-so-subtle, like a 8" wide Super Bee stripe.

P.S. Sorry if you think my finger is gross. The number 7 has special significance to my wife and I.

How about getting a sticker / sign shop to make you a decal with that pattern for back glass or front? Since it has a significant meaning to your wife and you. Maybe as shadow slightly different shade than the vehicle that wraps around? another idea.

Hmm I like that idea. Maybe a flat black design going vertically on the back window behind the drivers' head. Subtle.

:like:
Easy to change if you want to that way or don't like it.

Yeah I am NOT a fan of decals on paint. Every time I see an election campaign bumper sticker I cringe.

Anyone that thinks sticker (s) can't or don't have a effect on owner job and everything else is might want to think it over. My vehicles have stickers on them but I'm selective on what and placement.

Yeah, I'm down to debating between the Super Bee style stripe usethe4orce posted above, or having a hood blackout panel cut with the "7" pattern in negative (i.e. 7s cut out of the vinyl).

Maybe not so bad if the design is added on top of a hood blackout separately.
Are the 1941 ones I see printed on top or cut out of?
I have the solid black hood decal and had to pull it off twice during install to get it perfect, I couldn't imagine doing it with a design cut Into it.
