New 2022 Ecodiesel Already In the Shop

Well my new 22 Ecodiesel is already going into the shop. Less than 400 miles and I have a check engine light, service electronic throttle control and service stability control messages. It will barely run and is jerking when it does. I'm having it towed in Monday morning. Hopefully it is nothing major. If any others have had this issue let me know!

Probably a sensor.

Well that's unsettling. Only 400 miles and already needs to be towed?! Even if it's just a sensor that sucks... especially since my JTRD is being built.

I’ll toss out the check your fuses comment !! They may not all be seated yahdayahda.

I haven't thought to check the fuses. I did check the pcm connections and they were all good.

Brand new vehicle, let the dealer sort it out.

Mine ended up being sensors and a long back order PCM.

I've been in the shop and in a loaner since 12/14

I was told on 12/14 that It would be 1/15 or so.

Contacted @JeepCares I was expedited to 9th in line with a 1/7 eta and that has now passed supposedly it going to arrive on 1/17.


And during all that someone stole the cat off my truck so now I'm waiting on that back order as well.

Not my 1st jeep but it will probably be my last new jeep I buy.

In other news, @ArmyMP, I remember your original post about this issue and you have my sympathy - it seems pretty common that people get a problematic ecodiesel and dump it as a trade with few miles. I think you got screwed.

I paid 66k to drive a gladiator for a week and a half and then drive a jeep dumpass... I mean compass for over a month.

I bought a brand new 2010 GT500 and fuel pump failed on the drive home at 6 miles. Took 1 month for it to come in. They gave me a Ford Edge. Insane. Couldn't even give me a Mustang GT or something.

Most definitely open the fuse box and make sure your fuses are seated properly. Sad if this is still a problem with the '22s
