I tow a small teardrop camper to most events and trails so have a recievever is pretty important for me. I'm sure they won't rate the hitch but I'd imagine if you can hook a winch up it can pull a 1500lb trailer. Waiting for the instructions and a bit more info to come out, but it looks very promising.

I drag the hell out of the rear bumper and I like the idea of trimming the pinch seam for clearance more than chopping the bed and loosing bed length.
I’m not trying to picky here, you’re spot on with just trimming the pinch seam vs. the bed chop. Case in point, the rig in the photo has a wood screw sticking out about an inch where the sawsall hacked up bed has come loose.

The bedsides of the Red JT in his quoted photo are perfectly intact I can assure you there are no screws in the bedsides.

I'm not here to argue, I can Assure you there are zero screws in the Artec JT's bedsides I am the person whom installed the bumpers The driver side flare does have a nic from the cutoff wheel on the grinder and some dirt kicked up off the tire but that's it. Here is a photo I just took

I’m not arguing…This photo was posted on the forum of your new product, on the photo attached I highlighted the screw sticking out of the quarter panel and there’s a trim piece missing in this photo (also highlighted) to cover the cut marks, so I’m assuming that this was an early photo taken during its installation. BTW, love the look of the bumper, you’d sell another one today to me if it had a 2” receiver hitch that matched the Jeep receiver tow specs. I understand the cost and bureaucracy of your legal team hedging against that undertaking.

Yes that is an earlier photo before we added the trim to the bottom the blue highlighted area is just where the vinyl had been nicked by something .

Extremely beefy and well built. Zero extra screws to hold body panels lol. Artec’s armor and bumpers are legit. I’ve dropped body weight hard on these bumpers and the belly skids and I know I can do it again and again with no failures. Just sayin, their products won’t disappoint.

Yes, I have the comp. Slow and steady on the cuts after you’ve measured twice lol, but overall the install wasn’t bad

Mine's getting delivered here shortly.

What kind of trim did you put on the cut edge of the bed and how did you prep it to try to prevent future rust issues? That's my only hangup with the bedside being steel. Figured I'd sand the cut edge round and paint it but then I don't know if I want to put edging on it that just has the potential to trap water or not. If I did, I'd think I'd want to fill it with a glue or some sort of sealant to keep water out as well as I can.

When it comes down to it the risk is eventually any glue or caulk will break down then water will get in there. So I wonder if it's best just to leave it out in the open. And hopefully get a clean enough cut and good paint match so it looks good.

I've got cut steel all over the TJ but I just hit it with some sandpaper again and some rattle can black because it's 50 shades of black anyway. But the JT with the Gobi I'd rather at least look good...
