Years ago I shied away from extended warranties. I remain skeptical of after market providers who as a rule look for excuses to turn down a claim. However, with today's technology, a factory certified warranty is worthy of consideration. The price points shown seem very reasonable, I'll call my dealer tomorrow to find out more details. If the coverage is complete with few exclusions and provisions, I'll probable go for it.

I sold my automotive shop in 2000.
The new vehicles are packed with so many expensive parts I can’t see how to go wrong.
Been pricing the components covered by warranty for replacement online.
Wife loves they will replace up to three key Fobs even if lost or stolen.
She has lost two on our prior Dodge.
Max Care Coverage is what I am buying.
Not to mention the coverage is transferable to a prospective buyer in case I sell or upgrade and a huge resell factor.
Just have to make sure my farm plates will not be considered a commercial vehicle & void my warranty before I pull the trigger.
Just wish I could find a 4” lift from MoPar.
Might have to settle for a 2”.

Tom was the cheapest I found by far. After a couple of emails back and forth and a 2 minute phone call to give him my credit card info, I was done. He immediately provided PDFs of the application, plan and coverage. And, yesterday I received hard copies of everything in the mail. He quickly responded to my inquiries and was a pleasure to deal with.

I used to skip extended warranties as most mechanical stuff I can fix, but with all the electrical crap in the new vehicles, I tend to get them now.

Told them forget it. These prices look much cheaper........confusing.

Mr Winkels was $650 cheaper than the next best quote I found (for the exact same factory extended warranty /miles/ time etc). So, I'm more than happy to pass his info around.

His deductible was also twice as high.

As a former ASE master tech, former automotive garage & machine shop owner, 3rd gen machinist and current body shop owner ...
I priced the multiple onboard ECU prices along with estimated repairs of various covered drive line components and about snit a brick.
The only thing I can see not covered of my concern is the cat & particulate filter.
Well worth the investment IMO.
Matter of fact, after my wife* helping me to run an automotive business day to day for many years,
she was onboard from the beginning.
We sold out back in 2000 & let me tell you.
With the advancement of technology & related pricing
it is a no brainer for us.

* Wife & I were standing outside after closing with all our mechanics having a cold one & she hears a car turning at the intersection and states...sounds like a bad inboard CV joint.
You should have seen everyone’s faces.
