I was looking around truck web sites the other day and came upon an image of the Jeep's most-recent 5 year plan:
piano-prodotti.jpg

See the reference to a "Jeep Truck" in 2022? What could this mean? If there typical terminology holds true - this is not an update of the Gladiator because it would say something like "refreshed Gladiator" or "new Gladiator". This appears to be a new truck...could it be one of the concepts from Moab? I think this is very intriguing. Anyone have any further information on this truck reference? Thoughts?

Looks like it is the Gladiator, the JT..... If this was from 2018, the JT obviously wasn't out yet... and by 2022, they expect full coverage of all markets with the JT.

I agree, I'm a Plant Manager and use similar planning. The chart/plan is to have these additional vehicles changed/developed by 2022.

Yup.

Next big launch should be the new Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer
Just bring me the JT CRD. Or I might accept the new 3.0 inline 6 turbo gasser...

Also the Grand Wagoneer is already mentioned in a separate line in Segment F. The truck reference is in Segment D

People this plan was put out in 2018 not recently! The truck that is under wraps is the JT because it had not been released yet. If this was a completely different truck the JT would be pictured along with a new truck under wraps.

Okayyyyy..... as was already pointed out this slide is from 2018. The only truck that Jeep is building is the Gladiator and only a 4 door for that matter..... Yes the Wagoneers are on a separate line but that is the next item Jeep is going to launch.

FWIW - RAM was considering building a Dakota again based on the Gladiator but last I heard that plan has been scrapped as there is not enough capacity on the Gladiator line...

I agree with this.

Also - we don’t have the Grand Commander in the US...

Thanks for pointing this out - I thought the production plan was more recent - sorry for the mix-up.
