Mopar unveiled a new style JL and JT front Steel Bumper, More details to follow on our site as we are currently adding it but here is what we have thus far.

The new Mopar Off-road Front Bumper is wide enough to provide fender protection but is narrower than stock bumper. The heavy duty design is rigorously tested for performance, durability, and corrosion. Bumper is steel e-coated and black powder coated with D-rings for extra towing capability. Bumper is fully compatible with Jeep Performance Parts Rubicon Winch and maintains vehicle compliance.

    MSRP is $1275.00

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime

    Thanks,
    Benny

So when someone clicks the steel bumper option on the build sheet, are they going to get this instead of the existing steel bumper with removable wings? Because in all honesty, I prefer that one to this new version (especially in stubby form).

No from what we understand this is an Accessory add on not a build option.

    Thanks,

So... More expensive for less functionality. Got it.

I would rather see them offer a hard top rear window without the gun port and possibly hinged like the JL.

Yeah a 3rd party one is going to be way better and cost less. Pretty ridiculous. I hope they don't sell any and feel bad about what they did.

Agreed the price point is higher than the aftermarket and cannot say if further details will warrant it's price tag. We received this info from Mopar and are simply passing it on.

    Thanks,
    Benny

No apologies needed but thank you! We will continue to put out there new stuff as we come across it. Some parts make sense dollar wise and some may not and we certainly understand this.

    Thanks,
    Benny

Yeah. I agree. My snarky comment was not directed to you or your team.

I actually really like this. I always felt the stubby was a little to narrow. This reminds me of a cut down arb unit. I just wonder if you have to use those bumper pads?

Once it gets added to our dealer data we may be able to see how they attach and if they can be removed.
