I am going to have to get new tires sometime soon after the new year for my still stock JTR.

I would like to go with 35s....as well as perhaps a budget lift (~2-2.5).

I really do not want to have to get new wheels. Seems to be 50/50 consensus if this is possible without rub. :)

Living in Florida....wet road traction is key as is sand and mud. Of course has to look good/aggressive =P

I am not concerned too much with road noise. Just traction and wear.

Looking for recommendations?

I have these and they’re okay. I live in Florida as well. Wet road traction is okay but there are way better tires out there in this category. I also think the snow peak certification of these are wasted on us Floridians.

With you having a rubicon you could probably get away with just a spacer lift up front and 35s.

I bought a matching spare wheel, and the same size tire fits without issue.

Wife's Wrangler has Kenda klever 35x12.5 and they would fit your bill. We are in Florida and so far it has done great on her 4xe even with the gobs of torque.

I am using Goodyear Unisteel G614 RST and love it. No swaying, swaying or swaying due to side bending. I can tow 80-90mph on clean highways without fear of my fishtail breaking.

Appreciate the feedback. Considering the price, the Patagonia's look like a solid choice.

My patagonias wore like shit and I had to get rid of them after ~10k miles. I went to the KO2 and have been super happy with traction in rain/snow.

Either narrower 35’s, like 35x11.5x17, or wheel spacers for 12.5 width. Work with a shop that will check the tolerances, and you should be fine if you choose the right tire and spacers. I’m keeping my wheels with 37’s by doing 1.75” spidertrax spacers. Your rubicon fenders are high enough for the 35’s. Likely even before the lift.

Mickey Thompson Baja boss a/t

also check this vid out

Did some youtubing and googling...really liking those Baja ATs. Probably looking at Feb/Mar before I can buy tires so plenty of time to look around more. Thanks.

Really not pleased with OE Falken MTs.....barely gonna get 30k out of them and they are getting louder and louder every day. I realize being Jeep and all...and being MTs....but lately its kinda crazy how loud they have gotten. I did everything I was suppose to to do with keeping up with balance and rotations. :(
