Hi all,

I'm a soon to be first time Jeep owner. Just converted from being a long-time Volvo owner. I'm ready for something more fun! I just placed an order for a 2021 Jeep Gladiator - Overland that will be ready in early December.

I chose the All-Terrain 255/70R18 upgrade from the All-season 255/70R18. Down the road I would like to invest in lifting the truck and putting beefier tires on it. For now, I'm curious what is the most aggressive tire I can put on this without lifting and maintaining the stock wheels.

Open to any suggestions from the community and any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance! Really excited about joining this community.

Howdy - I have a 2020 Overland; I did the Rubicon Express 2" spacer kit which provided plenty of room for the NItto Ridge Grapplers I recently installed (285/75/18). I drove the truck for several weeks after kit installation to get the feel of it, and did months of research before deciding on a tire and size. I'm happy with the overall results. I'm guessing I'd have some rubbing without the kit, but with the kit there's plenty of room. Attached pics are: stock, post-kit installation and OEM tires, and post-35s installation.

I went with that spacer kit because it's $250, and the full-on suspension lift quotes I received were at least $2,500 including install (and up from there, believe me). My main purpose was to eliminate the vehicle's rake. I may do a 2" Mopar lift somewhere down the road but for now I'm fine where it sits.
