Newly announced Mexico tariffs and FCA

FCA stock took a hit today as it was announced that Trump is imposing a 5% (CORRECTION) tariff on Mexico (where a lot of FCA supplies come from). My guess is this will create a serious shortage and slow down production and maybe even increase prices. Glad I have my order in already. Travis says it’s schedule to arrive at dealer by 6/9. Happy as a pig in shit.

On the plus side. It might be possible to make money on your JT now.


Edit: I had originally wrote 20%. Thanks for the correction guys. I heard something about a 20% thing and mixed up the numbers. It's supposedly going to 10% at some point but starts at 5% on June 10th. Not 20%.

I don't know that it would cause a parts shortage or a production slow down, but you can bet on a corresponding price increase.
