So, rently replaced my 2013 Sahara with my, new to me, 2020 JT. I flat towed the JK behind my RV using the Ready Brake system. I was very happy with the setup, so I purchased replacement items for the new Jeep, from NSA. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a thorough look over when they arrived. The crimped ferrule end of the cable was improperly installed. When I sent a pic to NSA, I expected them to see it, realize it slipped passed their QC, & send a replacement cable….
What I got was a reply from Xavier at NSA…

“My supervisor and I do both believe the crimp will hold with how tightly down that is crimped. The angle is due to one of our crimpers push down at an angle like that.”

I’m more than a little disappointed in them “believing” the cable crimp will hold enough to activate the brakes in towed vehicle.
SMH…we are talking about what, maybe $4 worth of cable….

Sorry for the rant…just more than a little pissed off…my family & others on the road traveling in my proximity are worth more than $4
