Ok youngsters. Who had a 5 digit phone number growing up and had a tv that only got 3 channels that were black and white?
I was out in the sticks, 1 channel only on the black and white tv… party line phone with 5 digits.

And who remembers the HiFi radio and turntable that was a piece of furniture?

Remember having 5 TV channels. The two independent channel/stations were on UHF. Can remember a bunch of us pervy teenage boys that it was the shit to watch Benny Hill reruns on Friday night at 11:30pm before sign off on the odd episode it showed a topless girl in one of his skits.
Monty Python episode - "full frontal nudity" - and it played on the local PBS station at 10:00 pm.

I remember that kind of Hi Fi turn table sounding pretty good playing willie waylon and the boys when i was a kid
I remember some Conway Twitty, Elvis, Herb Alpert, Hugo Montenegro and some Johnny Cash. Plenty more but I can still hear those.
