I've reached out to the manufacturer, but I wanted to see if anyone else has heard of this issue.

Yesterday, I had a remote starter installed in my bone-stock 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport S. Not max tow, no lift, factory wheels and tires (just to get that out of the way).

The remote starter is a Carlink ASCLBTLR, and is, apparently, the first time this dealer has installed this model in a Gladiator. After I signed the credit card receipt, the dealer sheepishly informed me that his technician had learned something new on this install. That made me pause. What'd he learn? He learned that this particular model of remote starter, when installed on a Jeep Gladiator, will engage the hazard lights when the vehicle is started, remotely. That means that the headlights and taillights come on, and the hazard lights start flashing, whenever the truck is started by the remote starter.

Surely, this is software controllable, but the dealer said they called the manufacturer and confirmed that it's a glitch with this unit on the Gladiator, and there is currently no fix.

Anybody have any ideas about how to resolve this?

See if the Jeep Remote Start kit is compatible with your truck.

I’m experiencing the same behavior on a factory remote start. Did you figure out the root cause?

Just had the remote start that I removed from my JK installed in my JT and got a call from the installer. He wanted to let me know if he hooks up the lights the flashers will go every time it is started remotely. He did give me the option to not hook up any lights at all so we went that route. (No need to draw attention to my empty running JT in a parking lot).

Has anyone found a fix for this?
