I am having a hard time deciding what the best off road lights are. I keep going back and forth between Rigid and Baja Designs. The both come in white housings which will go great with my Gladiator. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions? Any other brands?

Any help would be appreciated..

I have been using KC lights. Great quality and a 23 year warranty. Probably going with the JL 10 flex bar or a pair of the gravity 6” mounted in the front bumper.

Ok I have a problem I’m hoping someone can shed some light on .... pun intended
I recently installed 2 ridged D2 lights in my aftermarket bumper. I wired them into the stock fog light harness so I can use them like the factory ones and not suck up an aux switch.
They worked fine at first but now it’s intermittent and sometime they just flash once and go out when I push the switch, the light in the instrument panel shows them on but they don’t come on and other times I hit the switch and they work fine.
I have double checked all the connection and found no issues I’m assuming it’s someHow a conflict with the computer ( I do have the led package from the factory btw)
Can anyone explain what’s going on and propose a solution other than wiring them to the aux switches .. I know that’s a fix I’m trying to avoid that!
Thx

Check your grounds are good

Some circuits are only capable of so much current. I’d try a different ground first. And make sure you’re not exceeding the stock amperage.

KC Hilites. Nothing is more classic than that KC Daylighter smile. KC had the 645 on sale in July for $295. Bought one set and was going to get another at that price but it's not on sale anymore. I know the troopers here have LightForce so they must be decent and work well enough. I have had Hella they're good. But I just love the KC look.

No regrets on Baja Squadron Pro’s here on my JK. Like the consumer serviceability, I swapped my lense style to just what I wanted. Love running them with the amber rock guards to protect them most of the time while still having bright usable light if I flip them on, then can still pull the covers off to expose clear stunning white light. Great company.

add one more to the check ground(s).
IF NOT, (and I'm glad this is coming up as I was going to wire my bumper lights in the same way today).
As you have the LED group already, could it be sensitive enough that it doesn't like the added draw?
IF so, get your power for them from another source, and power thru a relay. Use the tap from your stock fogs as the 'switch' power. that should work.

IF you want to make it easy-peasy, order a wiring kit like:
https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Wiring-Harness-Switch-Warranty/dp/B071ZPX32N/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1DPZWJY4AM1YF&keywords=led+wiring+harness+for+4+lights&qid=1564835951&s=gateway&sprefix=led+wiring,aps,147&sr=8-6
pull off the switch, wire the POS (positive, not :swear:) for the switch to the fog, should be good to go!

I've always used Rigid and have been extremely happy. But Baja Designs LP6 Pro lights are waiting for the Gladiator, which should finally be here next week.
