Do you happen to know the offset on the stock Mojave wheels? I cannot find anything online. Also, have you found a front bumper that will work with the Falcon reservoir?

7.5mm shallower than stock. Stock is 44mm. So 36.5?

I don't know the stock offset. Mine I'm getting are -44. As for the Falcon reservoir, not too sure. Do you have a picture of what you're talking about? I'd like to take a look

Man, I wish I would have ordered those wheels. I hate the included all black 6 spokes and I may have them for 6 months or so...

Why did you remove the hood liner? What does that do?

Great choice on rear bumper. I really like that one. I am going to look at making a bumper to go along with the desert racer vibe. Similar to the 7 Slot Customs Pritchet Canyon front bumper.

@jebsurf - "Hood scoop mod (to make it actually functional)." Do you have details on this? Great looking rig!

Anyone know what size tires we can put on the Mojave on a stock suspension?

Modifications:
Grab Handles
Borla Exhaust Dual Exit - Atak
Rydonair Antenna
Tint

Super easy and and removed hood liner because I didn’t want to trim the hood liner. I could have modified it, but choose not to.

Regarding the hood scoop mod-- 99% sure that's not going to cause any issues, but I'm also thinking that won't be helping. That area is precisely where many (race) cars position a vent rather than a scoop. There is a lot of high pressure air coming in through the radiator, and a vent in that position usually aids in the air flow, as it becomes a point of lower pressure.

Adding an additional source of high pressure air into the engine bay could disrupt the flow of air or create turbulence, potentially hurting actual performance.

Or, it could be a benefit. I'm not scientist, but I read a lot about venting before I got my genright louvers because I found it interesting.

Did you order or buy off the lot? Just curious why you got the optional wheels then buy aftermarket

BTW - nice job on the scoop mod.

You could pull out the plastic piece and then tape some 3" pieces of yarn at random places in front of the scoop and then drive. If they are pulled in toward the scoop its negative pressure and doing what a scoop should, if its blowing them forward away its positive and probably not good.

That's how the old timers did it on race cars and planes.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, it's now an entryway for dirt, debris and water that normally would not be in the engine bay.

I know there was a lot of chatter on the Charger boards about the pros / cons of hood scoops.

If it indeed provides benefits on the Mojave, that may be the greatest "cheep" mod ever, but it also may invite unintended consequences.

Either way, the Mojave hood is lust-worthy... :involve:

There won't be any benefit of that hood scoop. In order to have a function it needs to be over something useful, the air needs to be directed, and it needs to be of sufficient size to let the proper amount of air into the engine bay.

Typically hood scoops are used to introduce cold air to the intake or to some kind of radiator. In this case the only radiator is at the front of the engine bay and gets maximum airflow when the truck is in motion, and the intake is a fully covered box to the side of the engine. Without ducting the air that enters the scoop will jut hit the engine cover, be collected by air already moving in the bay, and get sucked out under the cab. MAYBE there's a small reduction in engine bay temperatures with the introduction of a cooler air source, but that will provide basically no benefit.

However, I doubt it does any harm either and now it's and actual scoop.

My other car has a functional scoop on it, ducted and sealed to the intercooler:
