Hey everyone!! I'm new to the Gladiator life had a JKU a few years ago so I am familiar with jeeps overall however I was looking under my Gladiator and the oil pan seems open and exposed to damage.

I plan on wheeling next week in Sedona AZ nothing serious but I feel the oil pan is just sitting there waiting to take a rock. Am I over thinking this or is it a real problem??

its ok. A skid plate couldn't hurt but been out a half dozen times and no issues

Thanks. For the info I just didn't want to rip it open on my first time out with it. I will definitely add a skid plate as some extra insurance in the future.

Mine’s well protected, not the greatest picture of the oil pan protection, but you can see everything all the way back to the rear axle. It’s the Motobilt skid plate. I had to slightly modify it to fit the shrockwork sliders since they mount on the frame.

That looks properly protected. I think I'm just going to take it easy until I add some protection.

That looks great. Where does the forward mounts attach, motor mounts?
